Recorded on March 2, 2013, American Ham first made its premiere at the Sundance Film Festival at the beginning of the year, to good reviews. Directed by his Kings of Summer helmer Jordan Vogt-Roberts, the film covers Offerman as he explores, in his own words, a "master class in life, love, woodworking, meat eating and being a man.”

Offerman, recently heard in The Lego Movie and seen in 22 Jump Street earlier this year, will also appear in Me & Earl & the Dying Girl, A Walk in the Woods, Knight of Cups and Welcome to Happiness next year. He also recently stepped in the director's chair for the Tweedy music video "Low Key."
