Nick Cannon hasn't exactly been quiet about his split from Mariah Carey. In a recent interview he explained it's because he tries to deal with everything head-on.
E! News recently spoke with Cannon at his St. Mary's Healthcare System for Children event at the Hard Rock Café in NYC.
Cannon revealed that the reason he's been so open about his marriage problems is because he doesn't want to hide his problems, and he ultimately wants to face all of his issues head-on, even if that means discussing it publicly. “I'm not a hider, I never hold punches, hold my tongue,” he told E! News. “I'm as candid as I can possibly be, but I try and be as respectful, as classy and the best human being I possibly can be.”
Back in August Cannon confirmed that he and his wife of 6 years, Mariah Carey, had been living a part for some time. They began their divorce process in September.
Shortly after their split became public, rumors began to arise that Cannon may have been having a sexual relationship with Amber Rose. Both denied the rumors, with Rose saying that she wasn't yet ready to date after filing for divorce from Wiz Khalifa last month.
Us Magazine reports that Cannon stopped by The Meredith Vieira Show recently to address some of the rumors, saying that most of them just aren't true. He said, “It's truly just staying focused on family and what's right and getting through these times and just doing what's right for the kids,” referring to twins Moroccan and Monroe, 3.
