After struggling on screen, Seth MacFarlane is back to voicing a foul-mouthed teddy bear in the sequel to his surprisingly successful Ted. Universal posted the first teaser for the new film, which hits theaters in June.

After getting married, Ted and his wife decide that they need to have a baby. Unfortunately, since he’s a teddy bear, he needs help from John (Mark Wahlberg), who agrees to donate sperm. Ted’s other issue is that he has to get the government to officially classify him as a human since - again - he’s really a teddy bear. That sets up for a court battle and gives Universal a reason to create the hashtag #legalizeTed.

Fans of the first Ted who hoped to see Mila Kunis back will be disappointed to see that she’s nowhere to be seen (at least in the trailer). Instead, Wahlberg is paired with Amanda Seyfried, who plays lawyer Samantha L. Jackson (get it?), Ted's representation in court.

There’s also a long list of guest stars who will appear, including Morgan Freeman and Liam Neeson.

Ted 2, directed by MacFarlane, hits theaters on June 26. All Universal can hope for is that it at least does better than A Million Ways To Live And Die In The West.
