Mission: Impossible 5 has already had its release date changed and now it will undergo a format change. While it isn’t being shot with IMAX cameras, it will be remastered to fit the large screens for its summer release.

IMAX announced the news on its Twitter page.

“Imax is so important in giving the audience the best experience of the film we have made. I am very happy to have this partnership on the next Mission,” star Tom Cruise said in a statement posted at The Hollywood Reporter.

The film is a Paramount, Skydance and Bad Robot production, with Edge of Tomorrow co-writer Christopher McQuarrie directing. Jeremy Renner, Simon Pegg and Ving Rhames are returning, while Alec Baldwin and Rebecca Ferguson are among the new castmembers.

M:I 5 was originally supposed to come out on Christmas Day, just days after Disney’s Star Wars: The Force Awakens opens. However, in January, Paramount moved the release date up to July 31.

The previous M:I movie, Brad Bird’s Ghost Protocol, was an instant success, grossing $694.7 million worldwide after its release in December 2011. Considering that Cruise’s last movie, Edge of Tomorrow, wasn’t a big hit in 2014, the actor is going to need M:I 5 to have that kind of success.
