After two consecutive weeks dominated by female-led movies, the box office is getting a bit more masculine this weekend. Get Hard, the new comedy that pairs comedy heavyweights Will Ferrell and Kevin Hart, hits theaters, along with DreamWorks Animation’s Home.

Get Hard, which has been hit hard by critics, is Ferrell’s first film since 2013’s Anchorman sequel. As Box Office Mojo notes, the film is getting an incredibly wide release, with 3,175 locations.

Considering the appeal that Ferrell and Hart have, Warner Bros. is looking for a pretty good debut. If it hits $35 million, it should be considered a successful opening.

Meanwhile, DWA is back with another effort that’s likely to struggle to draw audiences. The studio has been trying to raise awareness of the film by featuring its voice talent - including Jennifer Lopez - in front of the camera in commercials. Considering it does have to go against Cinderella, it could have a tough road ahead. But the studio has low ambitions. According to Variety, DWA is only expecting around $30 million.

The Divergent Series: Insurgent, which won the box office last weekend with $52.3 million, is expected lose over half that in weekend two. That will give it just north of $20 million.

Cinderella should also hold on well, making just under $20 million.

The wild card this weekend is Radius-TWC’s horror film It Follows, which managed to get a national release thanks to strong word-of-mouth and big numbers in its limited release. Radius-TWC has even delayed the film’s VOD release.
