A blurry version of the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice teaser leaked on YouTube Thursday. While it has been removed from Google’s site, it still exists elsewhere.
The teaser will not debut in the U.S. until Monday, when it will be screened in select IMAX theaters. Director Zack Snyder also posted a brief clip on his Twitter page, which previewed the look of Ben Affleck’s Batman costume.
However, the trailer is already being shown outside the U.S., since the leaked teaser includes Portuguese subtitles, notes Variety. It was clearly taken by a moviegoer in Brazil, who had his or her cell phone camera on.
The teaser was first posted on YouTube. However, it was uploaded to another video sharing site and can be seen below.
While it is blurry and often out of focus, we can still clearly hear that it has voiceovers from Holly Hunter and Jesse Eisenberg, who plays Lex Luthor. There are also very dark images of Batman in action, which fans who were at the San Diego Comic-Con last year saw.
It will be interesting to see if Warner Bros. just decides to post the trailer online over the weekend or later today. Marvel and Disney were forced to release the first Avengers: Age of Ultron teaser early after it leaked online as well.
