Universal unveiled the second trailer for Crimson Peak, the new horror film from filmmaker Guillermo Del Toro. The new trailer gives details on the plot, but it looks like there are many more scars in store for audiences.

Mia Wasikowska (Alice in Wonderland) stars as Edith, who married Sir Thomas Sharpe (Tom Hiddleston). They move into Crimson Peak, the house he shares with his sister, Lady Lucille Sharpe (Jessica Chastain). It’s a mysterious house and the more Edith learns about it, the more she probably wishes she never moved in. The trailer makes it clear that ghosts roam the halls and no one ever seems to die. Even Thomas appears to be ageless.

Crimson Peak takes Del Toro back to his horror roots after the expensive monster movie Pacific Rim. Charlie Hunnam, who also starred in Pacific Rim, has a role in this film, although he doesn’t appear in the trailer.

Crimson Peak opens on Oct. 16, just in time for Halloween. You can check out the previous trailer right here.
