Filmmaker Wes Anderson has designed a restaurant and not only is it glorious, but it looks exactly like you would imagine a Wes Anderson-designed restaurant would look.

The restaurant, called Bar Luce, is in Europe of course, specifically in Milan, Italy. According to Grubstreet, it is part of a new art and culture complex opened there by Prada.

Bar Luce includes a few nods to the classics of Italian cinema (specifically Vittorio De Sica’s Miracle in Milan and Luchino Visconti’s Rocco and His Brothers) , but it also looks like the place where Zero Moustafa and Agatha might have gone in between scenes during The Grand Budapest Hotel. One of the highlights for many though will be a pinball machine inspired by The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou. There’s also a jukebox, which

“There is no ideal angle for this space. It is for real life, and ought to have numerous good spots for eating, drinking, talking, reading, etc.,” Anderson said in a statement. “While I do think it would make a pretty good movie set, I think it would be an even better place to write a movie. I tried to make it a bar I would want to spend my own non-fictional afternoons in.”

The restaurant opened over the weekend and is open from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Hopefully, they serve Mandl’s Bakery pastries. And if we could get a picture of Bill Murray visiting the cafe, our lives would be complete.
