A little girl was lucky enough to meet Queen Elizabeth in Britain, until a soldier’s salute knocked her hat off.
APTN/Fox reported that six-year-old Maisie Gregory had given the Queen flowers during a visit to the colors parade in Cardiff, Wales, for the Royal Welsh Regiment.
In the video, the Queen walks up to the little girl wearing an adorable dress with a hat on her head. The two greet one another and as the Queen walked off, the soldier saluted her, but ended up pushing the little girl’s hat off her head. A group of women with the little girl appear shocked, with one putting a hand over her face.
The little girl simply walked over to the women and one of them fixed her hat.
Afterwards, the soldier apologized to little Maisie for what happened, E! News reported. Her mother, Joanna Gregory, told him that Maisie was alright.
Queen Elizabeth II was at the event to present the Royal Welsh Regiment with the new colors for the guard.
