The 2015 World’s 50 Best Restaurants list was revealed Monday in a ceremony in London and it was not a good night for Americans, with only one restaurant in the Top 10.

The No. 1 spot on the list went to El Celler De Can Roca in Girona, Spain, while Osteria Francescana in Modena, Italy took No. 2. Noma in Copenhagen, last year’s No. 1, fell to No. 3. Central in Lima, Peru came in fourth, while New York’s Eleven Madison Park remained the highest-ranking American restaurant at No. 5.

Also in the Top 10 are: Mugaritz (San Sebastian, Spain); Dinner by Heston Blumenthal (London); Narisawa (Tokyo); D.O.M. (Sao Paulo, Brazil); and Gaggan (Bangkok, Thailand).

As the New York Times notes, aside from Eleven Madison Park, most American restaurants fell in the rankings. Chicago’s Alinea fell from No. 9 to No. 26, while Coi in San Francisco went from No. 49 to No. 75. Manresa in Los Gatos, California tumbled from No. 62 to No. 100.

The new list was dominated by international restaurants from unlikely regions. Sixteen restaurants from Latin America and Asia made the list this year, compared to 12 from those regions last year.
