Not much can or will stop Dave Grohl from performing. Despite a broken leg, Grohl has continued on with the Foo Fighters tour. He's actually been performing from a custom made guitar throne. He is even bringing along his doctor not just on tour but on stage.
During the band's most recent stop at Boston's Fenway Park, Grohl's doctor took the stage and sang a cover of the White Stripes’ “Seven Nation Army," Time reported. Dr. Lew C. Schon has been taking care of Grohl since his leg injury last month.
Grohl told fans after Schon sang who he actually was. "Holy s##t, that’s actually my doctor. What a badass," said Grohl to the packed crowd.
As previously reported, the Foo Fighters wanted to continue performing and found a way to make Grohl comfortable on stage and still lead the band. Grohl sits on a throne like seat, which appears to be inspired by Game of Thrones. The custom made throne features guitars instead of swords and a large Foo Fighters symbol placed behind the rock 'n' roll seat.
