This weekend sees three completely different R-rated movies hit the box office, but none are likely to top the current R-rated king of the box office, Straight Outta Compton.

Up first is horror sequel Sinister 2 from Blumhouse, which earned $850,000 from Thursday night screenings. It is on track to earn around $15 million this weekend, which should put it at No. 2 behind Straight Outta Compton.

Even if Universal’s Compton drops 50 percent, it will still make around $30 million this weekend, notes The Hollywood Reporter.

Hitman: Agent 47, an adaptation of the video game, scraped together $600,000 last night, while American Ultra from Lionsgate grossed $425,000, reports TheWrap.

Hitman, which stars Rupert Friend as an assassin, is being released by Fox and is expected to hit $12 million. It comes eight years after the original Hitman, which only grossed $99 million worldwide in 2007.

American Ultra (reviewed here) is a violent stoner comedy that reunites Adventureland team Jesse Eisenberg and Kristen Stewart. The film will be lucky to hit $10 million.
