An Australian photographer claims that actor/director Mel Gibson spit in her face, pushed her and cursed at her last week. However, his publicist claims that the incident never happened.

The Daily Telegraph photographer Kristi Miller took a picture of Gibson and his girlfriend, Rosalind Ross, leaving a restaurant in Sydney. She later told the Daily Telegraph that Gibson pushed her and started yelling curses at her. However, Ross cut in and began apologizing and held Gibson back.

“I thought he was going to punch me in the face,” Miller said. “He was spitting in my face as he was yelling at me, calling me a dog, saying I’m not even a human being and I will go to hell. He swore and called me a c**t. It was non-stop, he didn’t even breathe.”

While police are investigating the incident, Gibson publicist Alan Nierob told The Guardian that Miller’s story is not true.

“Basically Mr Gibson and his friend were being harassed by this photographer and he asked her repeatedly to stop, which she did not,” Nierob said. “There was never any physical contact whatsoever and the story being told by her is a complete fabrication of the truth.”

Gibson is currently preparing his next film as director, Hacksaw Ridge.
