DreamWorks Animation is hoping that the famous big-haired Troll dolls can be the basis for a hit movie and they have enlisted Justin Timberlake to add some star power to the voice cast.

The studio announced today that Timberlake will voice Branch, a hardcore survivalist who tries to hide his real personality. He joins Anna Kendrick, who joined the film in June 2014 and is voicing Princess Poppy. The two characters go on a journey in the film.

Mike Mitchell is directing, with Walt Dohrn is co-directing and Gina Shay is producing. All three worked in DWA’s Shrek Forever After.

Considering that Timberlake and Kendrick have plenty of singing experience, Trolls will be a musical. It is also the first time that the popular toys, which were created in 1959 by Thomas Dam, will be featured in a movie.

Timberlake was last seen on the big screen in Runner Runner and also starred in The Social Network. As for Kendrick, she was just in Pitch Perfect 2 and is working on several films, including Get A Job, The Accountant and Mike And Dave Need Wedding Dates.

DWA recently returned to success with Home earlier this year, although it is still struggling to put recent domestic flops like Mr. Peabody and Sherman and Penguins of Madagascar behind them.

Trolls opens on Nov. 4, 2016 and will be distributed by 20th Century Fox.
