Ellen Pompeo says Daniel Craig needs a 'reality check'

Ellen Pompeo is making her opinions of Daniel Craig very clear on social media.

Pompeo, who has played Meredith Grey on Grey’s Anatomy for 12 seasons, thinks Daniel Craig was wrong to make comments about not wanting to continue to play James Bond.

“This dude needs a reality check,” Pompeo tweeted with a link to Craig’s interview with Time Out London.

In Craig's interview, he was asked if he would play James Bond again after starring in the last four films, and had a very candid response.

“Now? I’d rather break this glass and slash my wrists,” he said. “No, not at the moment. Not at all. That’s fine. I’m over it at the moment. We’re done. All I want to do is move on.”

Craig later added there might be one reason to re-visit Bond.

“If I did another Bond movie, it would only be for the money,” he said.

According to US Weekly, after a fan pointed out to Pompeo that Craig’s comments might have been taken out of context, she agreed.

"You’re absolutely right!” she tweeted back. “I certainly have been there.”
