While Jennifer Lawrence is the face of Lionsgate’s The Hunger Games saga around the world, she’s not a welcome sight in two Israeli cities.

The PR firm representing The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2 in Israel confirmed that it removed Lawrence for the ultra-Orthodox Jewish audience in Jerusalem and Bnei Brak.

“We discovered that public posters with the image of a female are often torn down in Jerusalem, while Bnei Brak does not allow posters with female images,” a rep for the PR firm Nur Star Media told Ynet.

According to Haaretz, the Bnei Brak municipality said that it doesn’t allow posters with women that might anger residents. However, the Jerusalem municipality told Haaretz that it has no regulations on women being on posters, so it didn’t force Nur Star Media to remove Lawrence’s image.

"Unfortunately we are subject to unofficial coercion that forces us to be more careful," Liron Suissa of Nur Star Media told Haaretz. "We have had endless vandalization, and clients prefer not to take the chance. We allow everything, but we recommend hanging another visual when necessary. The decision is the client's."

Mockingjay 2 has already grossed $43 million outside the U.S. and made $16 million domestically last night.
