The last chapter in the Hunger Games franchise has been released. Mockingjay-Part 2 is on track to earn $102 million during its opening box office weekend.

The final movie performed well during late night showings on Thursday and on Friday. Despite these numbers, this could still be the lowest opening for a Hunger Games film.

Mockingjay could becoming the fifth highest biggest opening of 2015, behind films like Avengers: Age of Ultron, Jurassic World and Minions. Jurassic World has the largest weekend opening, making over $208.8 million. Early reports have indicated that Star Wars: The Force Awakens might have a chance at breaking the record set by World.

On Friday the film earned $46 million at over 4,000 locations, Variety reported. The Hunger Games have performed well since it debuted back in 2012. The three previous films have earned $2.3 billion in worldwide gross. Mockingjay-Part 1 earned $121.9 million domestically. Mockingjay focuses on Katniss Everdeen, played by Jennifer Lawrence, as she joins forces to bring down the Capitol, which started the tradition of hosting the Hunger Games.

Spectre is expected to take the second place spot at the box office this weekend bringing in an additional $14 million.
