We will likely get some special guests along with headliners, Coldplay, during their Super Bowl halftime performance. So far, names being thrown out there are Beyonce and Bruno Mars.
As we previously reported, Coldplay, whose album A Head Full Of Dreams comes out on Friday, was announced as Super Bowl 50’s headliners during Thursday Night Football.
It’s now rumored two former headliners in their own right – Bruno Mars (2014) and Beyonce (2013) - will join the band onstage.
The AP reports when Bruno Mars headlined he had a little help from the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Beyonce brought out her Destiny’s Child group members for her show.
Coldplay frontman Chris Martin and Beyonce are longtime friends and her vocals are included on Coldplay’s new album on the song “Hymn For The Weekend.” Her daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, is featured on the album as well.
"It's the greatest moment of our band's life. We're going to give it everything we have," Martin said.
