Emily Blunt is the latest star to join the cast of Hasbro and Lionsgate’s My Little Pony: The Movie.
Blunt will join Kristin Chenoweth, who was the first big star to join the film in November 2015. According to Variety, other members of the “Mane 6” will be voiced by Tara Strong, Andrea Libman, Cathy Weseluck, Ashleigh Bell and Tabitha St. Germain.
The film is being directed by Jayson Thiessen and written by Meghan McCarthy, a My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic veteran. The plot finds the Mane 6 going on a journey outside Equestria, where they meet new friends and try to save their home.
My Little Pony will open worldwide on Nov. 3, 2017.
Blunt, who is expecting her second child with husband John Krasinski, recently starred in the Oscar-nominated film Sicario. She will next be seen in The Huntsman: Winter’s War, Universal’s prequel to Snow White and the Huntsman. She also stars in The Girl on the Train, which opens in October.
