Teresa Giudice is now finished with serving her time in jail but the mom of four is reliving a particularly painful day behind bars, when she wasn’t allowed to call her 9-year-old daughter Milania on her birthday.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey star said she ran out of minutes to use and when she approached an officer at Danbury about it, he wouldn’t make an exception for her.

"I was so upset, oh my God. That day I cried so much," she told People.

"The officer said to me did you ever play poker before?” she recalled. “I'm like, no and he's like you know when you run out of chips? I was like, 'Yeah,' and basically that was it."

Giudice got 300 minutes per month to use, so it worked out to about 10 minutes per day, but she didn't plan her time out well.

"I didn't know how to check my minutes and how you run out and 300 goes so quick," she added. "So then I had to be without a phone for two weeks."

Giudice announced on Feb. 8 she will be returning to Real Housewives of New Jersey for its seventh season.
