During a concert in New Jersey over the weekend Miranda Lambert announced that she got a proposal and is engaged, however, not to her beau Anderson East.
At her show on Saturday, Aug. 20, at Met Life Stadium the country singer said that she accepted a marriage proposal from a young fan but told him that he needed to wait a little while.
"I got engaged today. There's a little 6-year-old boy somewhere here named Sebastian. He asked me to marry him and I said, 'Yes, in 25 years,'" she announced to the crowd and flashed a pink jewel on her ring finger.
"When he came to my meet and greet, he got down on one knee and he was such a gentleman. It may be my favorite proposal ever … 'Cause girls, we deserve that. We deserve that.”
Lambert also took to Instagram and shared a pic of Sabastian’s proposal. She captioned the photo, “I said YES! But he has to wait 25 years. this sweet boy Sebastian is a little gentleman. #pinkring #proposal #mademyday #jersey #spreadthelovetour❤️.”
So it looks like East, who the 32-year-old began dating late last year after her public and quickie divorce from Blake Shelton, has some stiff competition to contend with.
