The Nickelodeon Kid's Choice Awards was an energy packed night, certainly fun for guests and audiences.
Dwayne Johnson won Best Actor and Zendaya won Best Actress, with notable winners being Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, Demi Lovato and BTS, Stanger Things and SpongeBob Squarepants.
Just look at all of that slime!
The Nickelodeon Kid's Choice Awards on March 24 gave out what Nick fans thought was the best in Movies, TV, Music and Online activity, epically sliming celebrity guests in the 90-minute show.
John Cena hosted the awards and JoJo Siwa from Dance Moms gave an energy-packed performance, slinging out songs like Boomerang, (which has snagged 500 million views on YouTube.) N.E.R.D. also rocked out Lemon, accompanied by kid dancers on top of a cafeteria table.
Kids got the opportunity to vote in a pick your own adventure type gig, where the votes went to what the outcome out of multiple stunts would be.
Black-ish star Marsai Martin wore “Guac Socks” in a game of “Eat It or Wear It,” while social media stars Alex Wassabi and LaurDIY participated in the “Fear Box.”
Cameo appearances were made by, Kristen Bell, Josh Brener, Nick Cannon, Echosmith, Kat Graham, Grant Gustin, Laurie Hernandez, Jiffpom, Chloe Kim, Darci Lynne & Petunia, Omar Miller, Ne-Yo, Storm Reid, Ben Schwartz, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Yara Shahidi, Brandon Mychal Smith, Jaden Smith, Hailee Steinfeld, Channing Tatum and Zendaya.
Fans cast votes in 19 categories. Favorite Funny YouTube Creator, Favorite Musical YouTube Creator, Favorite Dance Trend and Favorite Instagram Pet were new additions this year. Voting took place on all of Nickelodeon’s digital platforms.
Replays will be on TeenNick Monday, March 26, at 8:00 p.m. (ET/PT), and on Nicktoons Wed., March 28, at 8:00 p.m. (ET/PT). Also, it's on Nickelodeon On Demand today March 25.
Nickelodeon Productions produced the event with Elizabeth Kelly, Michael Dempsey, Shelly Sumpter Gillyard and Jay Schmalholz taking the helm as executive producers.
During the award show across Nick’s digital platforms, there was a second screen experience with real-time play-along, interactive polls that moved the show, and photos and videos from the orange carpet and backstage.
