Chrissy Teigen is defecting from Snapchat

Chrissy Teigen becomes the third celebrity in less than a month to boycott Snapchat. In a tweet on Saturday, Teigen expressed her disdain for the app.

Her tweet reads, "I stopped using snap. The update, the constant complaints of people not being able to find me, plus the Rihanna poll...no bueno."

Teigen cited the Snapchat update that revamped the design of the app as well as an ad that makes light of domestic violence that appeared on the platform.

The ad asked users to vote whether they would like to slap Rihanna or her ex-boyfriend, Chris Brown, who abused her. Clearly, that didn't set well with Rihanna. The poll has since been taken down and Snapchat has released an apology, but the damage is done,

Earlier this month, Kylie Jenner announced that she was leaving Snapchat because of the new update, causing stock for the app to drop $1.3 billion. Rihanna was the next celebrity to drop the app for the same reason as Teigen, due to the ad making fun of domestic violence. Rihanna's defect caused the app to drop $800 million.

Chrissy Teigen is an influencer on social media where she has over 10 million Twitter followers and 16 million Instagram followers.

It is not clear yet what her defection will mean for the stock of Snapchat.
