Amid tons of criticism since the controversial update that moved stories to the same tab as chat, Snapchat is testing a new redesign for the social media app.
Snapchat's stock has been tumbling ever since the new redesign. Celebrities have had a hand in the falling stock prices. Kylie Jenner announced that she was not a fan of the redesign causes the stock to drop in the billions. Then, high profile celebrities Rihanna and Chrissy Teigen both announced they stopped using the app after a distasteful ad making light of domestic violence.

Now, it seems that Snapchat is doubling back.
In the test by a small group of users, Snapchat is moving stories back to the Discover section where they post news from publishers like Buzzfeed and Vogue as well as celebrity features.
A spokesperson for the company said in a statement, "With this test, we’re retaining that idea [of separating friends and publishers], but bringing back one place for talking and one place for watching — organizing around users’ behavior, not just relationships."
The company is working on a better way for users to consume the content they post.
However, it is still looking bleak for the company. Their stock dropped again on Thursday.
