Foy, known for The Crown and Wolf Hall, plays expert hacker Lisbeth Salander, having taken over from Rooney Mara, according to Variety.
Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight serves as the screenplay writer, according to Independent. Fede Alvarez, known for Sony's Don't Breathe in 2016, is directing.
The trailer concerns Salander getting justice for two beaten prostitutes of a CEO who was acquitted the day before. She uses a trap to hang him upside down and coldly tells him what's going to happen: all his money will be split between the prostitutes and his wife.
