Jughead's mom and sister slated to emerge in Riverdale
Riverdale fans have been chomping at the bit to figure out when Jughead's mom and little sister Jellybean will physically be on the show. While Jellybean has been mentioned in seven episodes, she hasn't actually appeared on the show yet, other than in a photo, the word is that that will definitely change for season three.
Two other characters named Evelyn and Edgar Evernever. Evelyn is rumored to be the new BFF of Betty Cooper (Lili Reinhart). Edgar is said to be a creepy cult leader that lures Alice Cooper (Mädchen Amick) into some questionable behavior.
Fans have made their wishes known as to who they would like to take on the roles, with Stranger Things' Millie Bobbie Brown being a favorite because she is the right age and even looks similar to Cole Sprouse.
In the Archie comics, Jellybean is supposed to be 10-years-old, but they will likely age her up for this show, but that has not been confirmed.
The information on the new members of the cast came from Skeet Ulrich, who plays Jughead's dad JP Jones on Riverdale.
Perhaps the names of the new actors for season three will be announced sometime during San Diego Comic-Con?
Who would you like to play Jellybean Jones?
Riverdale returns to The CW on October 10 and will appear on Netflix at 8 a.m. on October 11.
