Tommy Hilfiger's new line of smart clothing for men and women, Tommy Jeans XPLORE, rewards you for wearing it.
The smart chip technology imbedded in the clothing connects to a corresponding iOS application through Bluetooth, and relates information to the company. This brand collects data, such as how often you wear the clothing, and rewards you for it.
According to TechCrunch, the line includes T-shirts, sweatshirts, jackets, hoodies, jeans, caps, and bags. Users are meant to compete in challenges to earn points. For example, points are earned by walking around to find Tommy-branded icons on the application's map.
