Trick 2...Finally! The Romantic Comedy, Trick, was released nearly 20 years ago to positive reviews by both critics and audiences and the long-awaited sequel is coming. was a surprise hit at the Sundance Film Festival being nominated for the Grand Jury Prize.

Starring Christian Campbell, John Paul Pitoc, Tori Spelling, and Miss Coco Peru, Trick is the story of Gabriel and Mark who meet at a bar and attempt a one night stand but are thwarted by Gabriel's friend Katherine, a malicious Drag Queen Miss Coco and several others along the way.

January 2019 marks the 20th anniversary of Trick, and Trick 2 has been announced by producer and director Jim Fall via his Instagram account just in time to celebrate. A sequel was teased back in 2012, but now that it has been made official there is no word on what the plot will be or who will be returning.

Actor John Paul Pitoc, who played "Mark" in the hit film, told The Celebrity Cafe about the sequel and the anniversary: "Trick was my very first film and this group of people and that movie will always have a special place in my heart. I'm just looking forward to seeing everyone together again at this reunion".

Fans would like to see Tori Spelling return, who we all know best as Donna Martin from Beverly Hills 90210. Spelling was nominated for a Saturn Award for her performance in Trick and is a veteran of TV and films such as Mother May I Sleep With Danger?, The House of Yes, and most recently Izzie's Way Home, as well as a New York Times bestselling author for her autobiography. We're hoping that the classic cheese fries scene can make a return in Trick 2.

One name being rumored for a return to star in Trick 2 is renowned New York drag queen, Miss Coco Peru. The host of Conversations with Coco and starring in various one-woman shows for over 20 years, Peru is also an activist for the LGBT community. Peru's part in Trick was added specifically for her and one has to think she will surely be back. Miss Coco was also involved in another cult classic film awaiting a sequel, Girls will be Girls, which spawned a five-part web series.
