If you haven’t been keeping yourself updated on what ridiculous things famous people have been doing this week, here’s a quick recap. With Amanda Bynes being deemed mentally unstable in the eyes of the court, Aldon Smith ruining his career and Samuel L. Jackson reaming into President Obama – several things have been sliding under the radar of what should be considered genuine “What were they thinking” moments.
For example, Kanye West has shown his egotistical side. Again. West has said a lot of ridiculous things and most recently it was his declaration of being the “number one rock star” akin to the late Michael Jackson in an interview with BBC Radio 1. This just reminds everyone of that time he called himself the Michael Jordan of music when he interviewed for the New York Times. To be fair, if West were to stop making public declarations of his awesomeness, he just wouldn’t be Kanye…and why does he keep comparing himself to Michael’s?
Radar Online managed to get video of Brooke Mueller smoking out of a glass pipe. The NY Daily News transcribed some of the audio, and Mueller can be heard asking about crystal meth – even though she’s been to rehab almost 20 times. Some people are wondering about what substance she’s smoking, whereas others are wondering how this is going to effect the custody battle over her children.
In another “That’s just Miley” move – Miley Cyrus has decided to get a tattoo on her foot that says “Rolling $tone” to commemorate her October cover of Rolling Stone. We all know that she’s going through a hard time following her breakup with ex-fiance Liam Hemsworth, but this just seems like another attention-grabbing tactic. No one is going to see a foot tattoo, unless it’s posted on Instagram of course.
Speaking of complete “wtf” moves, it seems like the Lohan family is just a basket full of crazy. Between Lindsey’s antics and Dina Lohan’s DUI arrest – Ashley Horn, the estranged half-sibling to Lindsay (on Papa Lohan’s side) just dropped $25,000 dollars to look more like her sister according an exclusive interview by In Touch Weekly. Judging my comments made during the interview, it may have been due to her personal insecurity issues that come along with being related to a starlet. On top of that, she was ignored by the family for most of the year. Lindsay herself was just told of Ashley’s existence around two years ago. Conversely, Horn claims in the In Touch interview that she has no plans on making a relationship with that family, wants a Hollywood career and is nothing like Lindsay.
Nicki Minaj has been updating her Instagram with images of her braless and shirtless underneath a jacket, and MTV is reporting that it’s all for Minajesty – her new fragrance. If this trend is really happening, it needs to stop. This is one of the most ridiculous and poor taste fashion trends that this side of 2013 has seen. Fashion website Tract Her, Trail her her claims that her fragrance is in connection with Minaj’s new Kmart promotion line and her look was approved by Kmart.
