Mick Jagger's daughter Jade reported that the Rolling Stones frontman will be a great-grandfather next year.
According to the Associated Press, Jade's 21-year-old daughter Assisi is pregnant and expecting to give birth early next year.
Assisi told Hello! magazine that 70-year-old Jagger was beyond happy when he first learned the news, and said, "Well done."
"I imagine it's nice to be a great-granddad, although I'm not sure he likes the idea of getting old, or being called one. I call him Mick — I wouldn't start calling him grandpa," Jagger's granddaughter said. She also said that becoming a great-grandfather probably won't be nearly as exciting as becoming a grandfather. "I think making Mick a grandfather obviously had a big impact, whereas, now making him a great grandfather is no longer particularly fascinating," she revealed.
The Mirror reports that Assisi is expecting her first child with her boyfriend Alex. The 21-year-old socialite and the chef have been dating for over a year.
The Rolling Stones are scheduled to tour Australia next year.
