While divorce rumors continue to swirl around Beyonce and husband Jay Z, soon the former will be able to put them aside for at least one night when she heads to the MTV Music Awards.

At the Aug. 24 event, Queen Bey will grace the stage, likely multiple times, but for sure when she heads up there to perform before the gathered crowd, according to The Associated Press.

She is just one of the many acts tapped to perform during the VMAs in two weeks. Others who will perform that Sunday include Iggy Azalea, who is expected to sing "Black Widow," along with Maroon 5, Ariana Grande, Usher and 5 Seconds of Summer.

As previously reported, Beyonce also will receive MTV's equivalent of the lifetime achievement award, the Vanguard Award, at the event.

She will join Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, U2, Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake as some of the winners of the award.

On top of performing and receiving the Vanguard Award, the "Flawless" singer is also nominated eight times at the VMAs, and is almost assured to walk away with several awards on the night.
