Megan Fox has a strong message for critics against the Michael Bay-produced Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The film is getting some backlash in light of latest Transformers film, Age of Extinction, which got the worst reviews but did the best at the box office.

"Let me tell you something about those people. How much money did Transformers 4 make? Exactly. Those people can complain. They all go to the theater. They're gonna love it and if they don't love it, they can f**k off. And that's the end of that,” she said at a press conference promoting the film on Friday, Cinema Blend reports.

Also attending the press conference was the film’s director Jonathan Liebesman, as well as her co-star Will Arnett.

When Fox’s involvement in the film with her starring role as April O'Neil was announced in February of last year, there was some backlash from TMNT fans. The film’s co-creator Peter Laird even questioned if she the right fit.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will hit theaters Aug. 8.
