The 7.8 magnitude earthquake that occurred in Nepal on April 25, 2015 sparked worldwide discussion and concern for the inhabitants as well as tourists. Followed by two shockwaves measuring above a magnitude of 6.0 and triggering a deadly avalanche on Mt. Everest, the Nepal earthquake caused a death toll exceeding 3,700.
