Steven Avery’s sons, Bill and Steven Avery, have broken their silence on their opinion of their father’s involvement in Teresa Halbach’s 2005 murder.
They spoke out in an interview with Crime Watch Daily, offering differing opinions.
When asked point blank if he believes his father, the subject of Netflix’s Making a Murder, killed Halbach, Bill replied, “No, I don’t think he did."
Bill’s twin brother, Steven Jr., wasn’t so sure. "I have no idea," he answered the same question in the clip obtained by People. "I mean, only one person can answer that and that is Teresa. But she can’t answer it no more."
Avery had Bill and Steven Jr., as well as two daughters, Rachel and Jenny, with his ex-wife Lori Dassey.
Bill continued to say he sees his father as a “complete stranger,” adding, “I know that he’s my father, but I grew up without a father for so long that it just kind of feels like I don’t have (one)."
Avery’s sons’ interview airs on Feb. 8 on Crime Watch Daily.
