Lady Gaga's highly anticipated headlining set at Coachella delivered even more than expected.
The singer's new song, "The Cure," was released to Spotify, Apple Music and other streaming services after it's debut at the famed music festival. The song was well received by the crowd, as was the rest of Gaga's set list. In addition to "The Cure," Gaga performed other hits including "Yoü And I," "Born This Way," "Edge of Glory," "Alejandro," "Telephone" and "Million Reasons."

Gaga was announced as a headliner in February after replacing a pregnant Beyonce at the show. Beyonce's performance has been pushed back to 2018, when she will headline. Other stars in the audience to watch the pop star shine were Katy Perry, Rihanna and Wiz Khalifa. Gaga is one of many notable headliners this year including Future, Bon Iver, and Radiohead. Drake was also introduced as a special guest performer at Saturday's show.
According to People, Gaga responded to fans in the audience saying "I love you," during her performance. Eventually the support caused her to tear up as she got emotional.
The first weekend of Coachella will come to an end with a performance from another headliner, Kendrick Lamar. Lady Gaga will again perform during weekend two on April 22.
