After an accident in November, Carrie Underwood is making a comeback!
Carrie Underwood will be performing a soon-to-be-released single at the Academy of Country Music Awards on April 15.
Underwood shared the news that this new song will be released on Wed., April 11, 2018, at 6 a.m. EST.
This will be the first appearance by the country music star since she fell on the steps outside her home on Nov. 10, 2017, suffering multiple injuries including a broken wrist and damage to her face, resulting in 40 to 50 stitches.
On April 4, 2018, Underwood also revealed that she had also gotten back to work in the recording studio. In the photo, Underwood tells her fans that she is making music again and that she is ready to start taking pictures of herself again after the accident.

“It’s crazy how a freak random accident can change your life,” she said in a note to fans in January, before adding that she was “determined to make 2018 amazing.”
The 53rd Academy of Country Music air live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Los Vegas on April 15, 2018, at 8 p.m. EST on CBS.
In addition to performing, Underwood will be nominated for two awards: female vocalist of the year, and vocal event of the year for her duet with Keith Urban on “The Fighter.”
