Apparently, Jonathan Nolan will "never give up" Westworld spoilers
Fans of Westworld were tricked by the creators of the show this week.
In a recent Reddit AMA (Ask Me Anything) session with Jonathan Nolan on Monday, the Emmy and Oscar-nominated co-showrunner released a statement along with Lisa Joy. In the post, Nolan revealed that theories are detrimental to the show.
"Theories can actually be spoilers, and the line between the two is confusing," the showrunners wrote. "If you guys agree, we're going to post a video that lays out the plot (and twists and turns) of season 2. Everything. The whole sordid thing. Up front. That way the members of the community here who want the season spoiled for them can watch ahead, and then protect the rest of the community, and help to distinguish between what's 'theory' and what's spoiler."
Nolan and Joy cited the fans of Game of Thrones who had read the books and protected the secrets through Season five when the show diverted.
The creators of Westworld asked for 1,000 upvotes on Reddit and got that in just a few hours. So, Nolan posted the spoiler video.
Spoiler Alert: The video contained absolutely no spoilers for season two.
The video starts off with images of Season 2=two, Jeffrey Wright's Bernard roaming Sweetwater while his voice depicts the season.
Then, the video cuts into the juiciest spoiler: Evan Rachel Wood singing Rick Astley's "Never Gonna Give You Up" while Angela Sarafyan, Clementine in the show, plays piano.
A screen grab reads: "Dear Reddit, From all of us here at Westworld, thank you for watching, We hope you enjoy season 2..."
The next 21 minutes of the video depicts a dog sitting in front of the piano while the Westworld theme plays.

Guess we will all have to wait until season 2 premieres and let the theories fly.
Westworld returns to HBO on April 22 at 9 p.m.
The show brings back Evan Rachel Wood, Jeffrey Wright, Ed Harris, Jimmi Simpson, James Marsden, Thandie Newton and more to star.
What do you think of the creators' joke?
