With summer quickly approaching, M&Ms has announced its newest flavor of candy: orange vanilla.
Mars, the company that manufactures and distributes the candy, announced that the orange vanilla flavored M&M will hit stores on April 30 exclusively at Dollar General stores. Unfortunately, it is only for a limited time.
However, for every bag sold, Mars will donate $1 to the Dollar General Literacy Foundation in support of family literacy.
The orange vanilla flavored is intended to mirror the summertime favorite, the Creamsicle. This is the second ice cream flavored M&M that hit stores. In February, the Neapolitan flavored candy was released mirroring the classic vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry ice cream.
The only question still brewing is who is going to voice the orange vanilla M&M in their commercials. Maybe we will get the sultry voice of John Legend to sing us into the summer season. Or maybe Scarlett Johansson will lend her voice to the role. She's already done voice-over work for Isle of Dogs and Her.
Or maybe we can get a It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia reunion a get Charlie Day to appear alongside Danny DeVito.
Of course, the M&M is only in limited release so we may never see this come to fruition.
Make sure to pick up a bag of orange vanilla M&Ms while they last!
