In an Instagram post, Adele shared photos of she and her party guests, sporting life jackets at a dance party. She expressed her excitement for entering her thirties, thanking loved ones and even giving a shoutout to Childish Gambino after the release of the "This is America" music video.
While some fans are impressed with the singer's party, others find the theme insensitive. Many attendees showed up with frost-bitten makeup and in life jackets. This brought some divisive reactions, with many comments finding the references to the disaster that claimed over 1,500 lives to be in poor taste.
Some believe the singer should be able to celebrate her love of the story of Jack and Rose but some believe she is making light of the horrible tragedy.
