Candice Romo celebrates National Waterpark Day in style at Kalahari Resorts

Candice Romo may be busier now than when her husband Tony Romo, famed quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys was still playing the game.  She is mom to three young boys, has an exciting new business and is involved with many charitable pursuits, but she understands the need for some family fun.

Candice Romo is a Dallas native who has a background in journalism wed Tony in 2011.  They have three sons Hawkins, Rivers and Jones.  She recently embarked on an entrepreneurial endeavor with her friend Hollie Siglin by launching Hawk + Sloane, an aromatherapy business geared towards making kids and their parents happy.  The slogan is  "Conquering Parenthood, One Spray at a Time."

With all the stuff going on in her life, Candice Romo values family time more than anything else.  One thing she encourages people to do is take family vacations that have something for everyone.  With National Waterpark Day taking place on July 28, she celebrates going to Kalahari Resorts and Conventions, home to America’s Largest Indoor Waterparks.

There are currently three locations for these exciting resorts, each with their own unique amenities:  Sandusky, Ohio, Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin and the Pocono Mountains, Pennsylvania. Something new is that they broke ground on a new resort in Round Rock, Texas, that is set to open in 2020.  The Romo's will be so happy to have a resort closer to them.

Candice Romo spoke with Michelle Tompkins for TheCelebrityCafe.com about her life, work, what Tony is up to now (hint he will be back on TV), what are the best and worst things about being a pro football player's wife, what makes her new business Hawk + Sloane so interesting, what people should do for family vacations, why Kalahari Resorts and Conventions has something for everyone, what she will be doing for National Waterpark Day and more.
