Who here remembers their first crush? What about their most recent crush? All the crushes in between?
Lara Jean, the main character of Jenny Han's popular YA series and upcoming Netflix adaptation To All the Boys I've Loved Before, does too. So much so, in fact, that she's written letters to all five of them.
Played by Lana Condor of X-Men: Apocalypse, Lara Jean must decide what to do when the letters accidentally fall into the hands of the five boys.
According to Screen Rant, the film rights were optioned by Overbrook Entertainment shortly after the novel's release in 2014. Netflix obtained the distribution rights earlier this year.
Lara Jean's family, especially her two sisters, played by Anna Cathcart and Janel Parrish (of The Perfectionists), play a large role in her life, as well as the film, according to Teen Vogue.
Lara Jean must learn to face her fears and move forward. The film debuts August 17.
